Programme

DAY 1: OUARZAZATE - DRAA VALLEY - TAMEGROUTE - M’HAMID

08:00 AM: Departure from Ouarzazate.
Drive through the lush Draa Valley, known for its date palms and ancient kasbahs.
Visit Tamegroute’s Kasbah, the Koranic library, and pottery workshops.
Arrive in M’Hamid, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
04:00 PM: Explore the local Kasbahs and palm grove with a guide.
Included: Dinner and overnight stay in M’Hamid.

DAY 2: M’HAMID - SACRED OASIS - DUNES OF ERG CHEGAGA

Enjoy breakfast before a camel trek to explore the tranquility of the desert.
Meet nomadic tribes and learn about their traditions.
03:00 PM: Drive by jeep through desert landscapes to Erg Chegaga dunes.
Witness a magical sunset behind the dunes.
Enjoy dinner around a campfire and relax under a starry sky.
Included: Dinner and overnight stay in a desert camp.

DAY 3: ERG CHEGAGA - LAKE IRIQUI - TAZENAKHT - OUARZAZATE

Watch the sunrise and savor a traditional breakfast.
Begin your return journey through desert terrains, passing by the dried Lake Iriqui.
Stop at Foum Zguid for refreshments and at Tazenakht for lunch.
Optional visit to a women’s carpet-weaving cooperative.
Drive through rocky landscapes and arrive in Ouarzazate around 5:00 PM.
